Mark\u00a0<\/span>\u2018Camo\u2019<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Cameron is\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>much loved<\/span> t<\/span>echnical trainer who has been part of the<\/span>\u00a0O'Brien<\/span>\u00ae<\/span>\u00a0tea<\/span>m for 27 <\/span>years.\u00a0<\/span>He has been the face and voice of the brand numerous times for\u00a0<\/span>past advertising campaigns\u00a0<\/span>and it\u2019s a role he reprises this month\u00a0<\/span>when the latest radio ads from O'Brien\u00ae hit the airwaves.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark is the expert\u00a0<\/span>featured\u00a0<\/span>in our\u00a0<\/span>new\u00a0<\/span>15 and 30 second radio ads that are playing\u00a0<\/span>on radio stations across NSW and QLD<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>The purpose of the ads is to reinforce the message that chips<\/span>\u00a0on your windscreen<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>could\u00a0<\/span>crack\u00a0<\/span>at any time,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>therefore\u00a0<\/span>the importance of getting chips repaired before they do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

‘With international travel still not back on the cards, we know a lot of people will be driving to holiday destinations within Australia this year. <\/span>It\u2019s much easier\u00a0<\/span>and quicker<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to get a windscreen chip repaired than<\/span>\u00a0to have to replace the entire windscreen<\/span> and we hope these ads will remind people to get the repair done before they pack their bags,’ said Vivian <\/span>Oppl<\/span>, Group Marketing Manager.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark was first thrust into the spotlight in 2008 when he was tapped on the shoulder to be\u00a0<\/span>part<\/span>\u00a0of a radio ad.<\/span>\u00a0Since\u00a0<\/span>then<\/span> he has featured in several TV and radio<\/span> marketing campaigns, a couple of which you can see here!<\/span><\/p>\n

Having had that previous experience, Vivian was keen to cast Mark again in the new ads.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>We think it lends credibility to our advertising to feature one of our techs and\u00a0<\/span>Mark is a hugely likeable\u00a0<\/span>personality. S<\/span>o\u00a0<\/span>passionate and\u00a0<\/span>knowledgeable about O'Brien<\/span>\u00ae<\/span>\u00a0and the business<\/span>. He has a warm, natura<\/span>l way of presenting information that is so quintessentially Australian<\/span>,\u201d said Vivian.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In his 27 years with the business, Mark has worked as a mobile vehicle glass technician, a senior branch technician and now, a technical trainer. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

O'Brien\u00ae has\u00a0<\/span>approximately 7 technical trainers across the business. Mark is part of this team whose responsibility it is to\u00a0<\/span>train all new O'Brien\u00ae AutoGlass technicians on all elements of windscreen repair and replacement and most recently, driver safety system recalibration. The technical t<\/span>rainers are experts on existing technology a<\/span>nd have their fingers on the pulse of the new technology and products out there to further improve the process.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u00a0<\/span>Mark<\/span>\u00a0likes most about the business is\u00a0<\/span>the people at O'Brien<\/span>\u00ae<\/span>\u00a0and the fact he\u2019s solving problems for customers.<\/span> ‘<\/span>I work with a great team and really love the work I do to help\u00a0<\/span>constantly focus on always\u00a0<\/span>improv<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0standards and\u00a0<\/span>the service we provide our customers.’<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Outside of work, you\u2019ll find Mark on the tools at his own house or on the golf course.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
